Gilbane
Several years ago, Gilbane worked with the Fuessler Group with an objective to develop a direct
mail program that would raise awareness for the firm's growing market and geographic diversity. A
second objective was to reinforce business development efforts in its four New England offices,
particularly in its non-headquarters offices in Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
After conducting client interviews, we created a campaign of four mailers, each with a specific
theme --resources, results, quality, and delivery. The projects and personnel featured on the
mailers were different for each office. Each mailer included a card that discussed one of the
themes, a card with a project example that showed how that theme manifested itself on a specific
project, and a 'wrapper' with the Gilbane name on it. These were mailed in an envelope on a
two-week cycle to existing and potential clients specific to each office.
The mailing program helped start some conversations about potential future projects.
