Karen Kennedy is the newest member of the Fuessler Group, joining the firm in November 2002 as senior associate. Karen happily works on growing the firm's client base -- tapping into her high energy, positive outlook, and eagerness to meet client needs. From that point on, the Journalism major and former Lowell Sun reporter has passionately pursued public relations work-serving a variety of industries including engineering, utilities, environmental consulting, high technology, regional planning, telecommunications, and fast food. Along the way, she has picked up awards for her efforts, numerous recognitions for companies, and a master's degree in public relations.

Karen says her biggest thrill comes from identifying "those fast-moving windows-of-opportunity" and securing attention in any number of ways, from the press, the publics, and the pundits that are critical to the success of the companies she represents.

Karen's work has centered on creating and implementing strategic public relations plans, marketing communications, media relations, and promotional campaigns that secure a leadership position and maximum coverage for organizations. She has served as chief spokesperson to the media nationwide, winning kudos for her crisis communications work. She is the author of op-ed pieces, newsletters, annual reports, press kits, and speeches; as well as the creator of several headline-grabbing special events. She is the former Director of Public Relations for OneSource Information Services.

Karen is a ski nut; is first mate to her husband on his sailboat "Foggy Dew;" and is positively loopy over her teenage daughter and four stepkids.
